The American Giants Museum is located at 100 SW Arch St, Atlanta, IL 61723. Situated on a historic 1926 alignment of Route 66 in downtown Atlanta, Illinois, this unique roadside attraction showcases the country's largest collection of vintage fiberglass "Muffler Men" and mid-century advertising statues.
Hours & Pricing
Admission: Free to visit.
Indoor Hours: Open seasonally (typically April through October) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays. Winter visits from November through February are by appointment only.
Outdoor Grounds: The massive statues displayed outside are fully accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year long.

The Building: The main museum is housed inside a detailed replica of a vintage 1960s Texaco service station.
The Star Attracton: A rare, 24-foot-tall "Texaco Big Friend" statue stands directly outside the museum.
Outdoor Rest Stop: Known as the Route 66 Land of the Giants Rest Stop, the exterior features a rotating forest of giants—including a Cowboy, Viking, Space Man, Snerd, and an Indian Brave—complete with picnic tables and a vintage drinking fountain.
Indoor Displays: Inside features original fiberglass molds, a massive collection of detached giant heads showing different historical models, and artifacts from the original International Fiberglass Company.
Nearby Giants: Atlanta's original landmark—the famous 19-foot-tall Paul Bunyon "Tall Paul" Hot Dog Statue—is located just a half-block down the street.

Parking: Free street parking is available directly out front, alongside a free city parking lot located right across the street.
Accessibility: The facility features a completely stair-free entrance, dedicated handicapped parking, and a fully accessible unisex public restroom.
